Da keimte gerade ein bisschen Hoffnung, als ein Update im Store angezeigt wurde: Nach Monaten des Nichtstuns endlich die App aufgepimmpt?
Dann die Ernüchterung: Nach dem Start findet sich lediglich zusätzlich ein Link zu diesem Eintrag:
"We recently decided to focus our development efforts on delivering a great web experience, announcing a release that includes enhanced library management using your browser and, as a result, we have removed our Windows 8 app from download and will be retiring it. You’ll still be able to download and read comics inside of your Windows app until through the end of the year.

Of course, all of your purchases are still yours and you can read at any time on our website and in our other apps for Fire Tablet, Android, and iOS devices. Nicht, dass ich sie besonders vermissen werde, aber falls ich demnächst ein Windows Tablet hole, wäre sie halt nützlich zum Offline-Lesen DRM-gebundener Comics.
