In Hokkaido hat im Jahr 2000 ein Vulkanausbruch ein bewohntes Gebiet entvölkert - statt es komplett platt zu machen, hat man ein wenig aufgeräumt und einen Wanderweg gebaut. Das Ergebnis ist ein post-apokalyptischer (Alb-)Traum:
