The A side opens with Exotic Mysteries, a summery tune with raregroove undertones, exemplifying Nebula's ability to balance dancefloor beats that also work while kicking back in the sun. Mind Tricks follows, taking us into deeper, moodier territory, its eerie vocals and pads giving way to a heads-down Amen workout. With trademark Nebula pads and rolling breaks, Mystical Life is a classic atmospheric number - almost 7 minutes of pure eyes-closed bliss. Closing things out, This Life is a more experimental, jazz tinged Apache flex, showcasing Nebula's stylistic versatility (and of course, his Jedi editing skills!)
