Ob das nun alles ein russischer Coup ist, keine Ahnung. Auf jeden Fall ist es ein rechter Coup. Und passt zum 60 Minutes Ast.

As an American, I agree that we've failed ourselves (and the world). That being said, I think it's dangerous to not look at the big picture. Russia accomplished a successful coup of one of the most powerful nations in the world. Not to mention that the rich oligarchy (traitors) were more than happy to sell their country out.

I think what happened was Russia (and China) realized the biggest weakness of Democracy was "tolerance to the intolerant." Look at Brexit as another possible example of successful Russian espionage. Racists within a country are foolish enough to destroy their own country; sound familiar?

I'm worried that Europeans and Canadians might not understand the situation isn't as simple as "Americans are stupid." We (western society) allow cancer (racism, sexism, homophobia, greed, anti-education, etc.) to exist in our society. Russia (and China) then comes along and actively supports the growth of these cancers. Right wing extremists are on the rise all around the world; groups like AfD are ticking time bombs for democracy.

Some Suggestions:

Elon Musk must be officially recognized as a Nazi and a Russian asset. All his companies banned in every democratic country; especially Twitter (X) since it is a propaganda platform. Brazil was smart enough to ban Twitter (X).

Fascist Trump must be officially recognized as a Russian asset.

Europe and Canada need to build strong (military and economic) coalition that doesn't rely on the United States or China.
