Also von wegen Ranken statt Sporen, keine Gasmasken und Gewalt"reduzierung". Ich finde, dass gerade Gasmasken eine Art von Unbehagen und Bedrohlichkeit erzeugen. Zumindest bei mir ist das bei Games wie "TLoU", der METRO-Serie oder Filmen wie "The Road" der Fall. Ranken als Auslöser der Infektion finde ich nicht so prickelnd, auch wenn die Begründung schlüssig ist:
"In the game... you encounter spores and you need to put a gas mask on. In the world that we're creating [with the show], if we put spores in the air, it would be pretty clear that they would spread around everywhere and everybody would have to wear a mask all the time and probably everybody would be completely infected by that point," Mazin stated.
"So, we challenged ourselves to come up with an interesting new way for the fungus to spread but mostly I think we just connected with the soul and spirit of the game."
Auch die explizite Art der Gewaltdarstellung im Spiel, dieses schonungslose in your face hat für mich extrem gut in die Welt und zu den Charakteren gepasst. Bin gespannt, wie sie das für die Serie "angepasst" haben.
Wahrscheinlich kann man es "uns" Hardcore TLoU-Fans eh nie recht machen. Erst der Cast, der nicht jedermanns Geschmack traf, jetzt die Storyänderungen...
Man hat sich vieleicht zu sehr eine 1:1-Umsetzung gewünscht und ist dann überkritisch...
Naja, lassen wir uns überraschen. Werde an der Serie so oder so nicht vorbeikommen!
